H4Tracks (Human-in-the-loop 4 Tracks) is an open-source napari plug-in developed for the semi-automatic analysis of cell migration videos. It integrates essential functions such as machine learning based segmentation of cell instances with Cellpose, automated coordinate-based and overlap-based tracking and interactive exploration of various metrics, such as speed or size of the cells. Furthermore, it offers flexibility in the processing of automated results. Users can choose between three processing modes, depending on the reliability of the automatic results. They can easily correct and delete faulty tracks or create individual tracks manually or semi-automatically. In addition, the plugin enables the evaluation of tracking quality using a quality score.
