EfficientBioAI is a plug-and-play open-source toolbox that compresses existing bioimaging AI models. The toolbox reduces the amount of computation in the models while maintaining a prediction accuracy comparable to that of non-compressed models. This enables researchers to analyse high-resolution or high throughput microscopic images faster and with significantly lower energy expenditure than before. The user-friendly software can easily be integrated into existing PyTorch code. It is currently available for Linux (Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 10) and Windows 10 with full support and for MacOS with CPU support.
