World Thrombosis Day on 13 October

With the World Thrombosis Day, health organisations worldwide raise awareness for the underrated risks of this illness. At ISAS, we take the opportunity to promote the thrombosis radar that was developed by our Standardisation group.

ISAS has entered a new DFG Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) as a project partner. The collaboration aims to decode the complex and insufficiently understood functions of platelets.

Excellent science wins at ISAS

Professor Kristina Lorenz, head of the Biomedical Research department at ISAS and director at the WGHZ (Westdeutsches Herz- und Gefäßzentrum) in Essen, has won the renowned Arthur Weber Prize from the German Cardiac Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kardiologie, DGK).
