ISAS is equipped with the most up-to-date LC-MS systems that enable us to reliably identify proteins. In this context, we pursue a bottom-up approach: The proteins are enzymatically digested and then identified by analysing the resulting peptides. This approach allows us for instance to analyse samples that have already been processed, using different devices. However, we also take care of the complete sample processing (including cell lysis and digestion) as well as protein identification from individual gel bands.
