Kristina Lorenz joined ISAS in 2016 as scientific director and head of the Biomedical Research department. She was jointly appointed by ISAS and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), where she holds a professorship for mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases at the University Clinic Essen.
