The Dortmund Science Day has already become a long-standing tradition: On November 21, it took place for the 15th time. Participants were invited to join one of the twelve bus tours to scientific facilities around Dortmund and to get an insight into what kind of projects and ideas researchers are currently working on.
One of these tours was headed for ISAS again: The institute joined forces with the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology (MPI) and set up a programme to “Make the invisible visible”. The main topics of the tour were modern microscopy and imaging methods that provide deep insights into the tiny world of cells. The tour was guided by ISAS scientist Dr. Alex von Bohlen.
